Variations on the granny square are becoming increasingly popular in crocheted garments and are not just for grannies anymore.
The Crosshell Granny Shawl is primarily worked using the simple granny stitch with a fun crossed double crochet and shell border. This pattern can be made using one color, several colors or a gradient yarn. I used a dk yarn by Yarn Bee called Feeling Gradient but any weight 3, dk yarn can be used to crochet this cozy shawl.
