Vaughn’s Harmony Beanie

I designed Vaughn’s Harmony Beanie in honor of my friend Joe Vaughn. Joe passed away from lung cancer and Alzheimer’s disease last year after it was clear that he could not battle the disease any longer. He was a gentle soul and an avid gardener. He and his wife Carolyn had a beautiful garden in St. Louis with a sign that read ‘Harmony’. His cheerfulness rubbed off onto everyone he was around and he taught my husband and I how to live life to the fullest, laugh often and enjoy each day that God gave us.

Vaughn’s Harmony Beanie features puffs and crossed double crochets throughout which remind me of hugs and kisses. Plentifully given to those we love and treasured from those we have lost.

I would like to share the adult small beanie pattern with you free on the blog. The small child, large child and adult large are included in the paid pdf in my Ravelry store.
