I have enjoyed working with the smallest of my hooks and crochet thread or embroidery thread and making small granny squares and other fun whimsical shapes. I like to add jump rings and slide these onto necklaces or dangly earrings as they give a little playfulness to otherwise mundane workwear.
The Emilia Earrings were inspired by the simple granny square but with a little bit more texture with stitches being worked behind others into rounds below and peek through little windows that have been by previous stitches. I love to see the different color options that can be used to make these.
