Radiance Scrunchie

The summer has been so hot in South Carolina and it has not been easy escaping the heat. Splashing in the pool with my family, small hikes in the mountains and going to the local science center to watch movies in the planetarium have been our saving grace! How do you keep cool during hot weather?

In my crochet world, I have enjoyed playing around with the herringbone half double crochet lately and wondered what a gradient style yarn would look like while using it. I was pleased to see the results of this leftover Yarn Bee Caterina I had in my stash. As the stitches radiate outward, the color changes slowly around and is just so mesmerizing.

The Radiance Scrunchie is an easy repeat pattern, worked in continuous rounds with two options for joining and closing the scrunchie. Best of all, it is yet another fabulous stash buster!
