My first two published patterns in the Crossroads Collection, The Crossroads Dishcloth and Crossroads Scarf both use the link stitch and are worked in rows. I wanted to design an ear warmer, cowl and beanie using the same stitch combinations as my other Crossroads patterns only this time they would be worked in the round. So I began to test out the link stitch in the round and found there were not many tutorials on how to complete this task. So I set out to to figure out the best way to join the link stitch for a seamless look. In the process I came up with a cup cozy pattern and sent it off to testers. But explaining the process in words can be tricky and being the visual learner that I am, I decided that a photo tutorial was a must!

Congratulations! Give yourself a pat on the back because you just joined your link stitch round!
I hope you enjoyed learning how to join the link stitch as much as I enjoyed figuring out a seamless way to do it.
Until next time, Happy Crocheting!
