Inspired by my Crossroads Cowl, I have designed an Ear Warmer that is crocheted in the round, using the link stitch and crossed double crochet stitch. I hope you’ll agree that this Ear Warmer pairs well with the cowl, as well as, the Crossroads Scarf, making it a great addition to my Crossroads Collection and your wardrobe!

| Materials Worsted weight (4) cotton yarn Yardage: Approximately 80 yards 6 mm hook Scissors Needle Abbreviations Stitches St(s) Chain (ch) Single crochet (SC) Double crochet (DC) Rounds (rds) Foundation Single Crochet (FSC) Pattern Notes Advanced Beginner Written in US crochet terms Finished Size: 11″ wide x 5″ tall Gauge: 2×2 = 7 sts and rds 1-5 Before You Start Pattern is worked in rounds from the bottom up. Ch 1 does not count as a stitch. Ch 3 does count as a stitch. |
Adult Medium Crossroads Ear Warmer Pattern Instructions
Ch 64, join to 1st chain. Alternatively, FSC 64, join to 1st FSC (Be careful not to twist)
Round 1: ch 1, SC in each chain around, join. (64 SC)
Round 2: ch 3, DC in last chain of round, * skip st, DC next st, DC skipped st, repeat from * around, join to top of ch 3. (32 crosses, 64 DC)
Round 3: ch 1, SC in each st around, join. (64 SC)
Round 4: ch 3, link stitch in each st around, join. (64 link stitches) [See photo tutorials]
Rounds 5-8: repeat Rounds 1-4 once.
Rounds 9-11: repeat rounds 1-3 once.
Finish off. Weave in ends.
