Recommended Yarn

Any worsted #4 weight yarn approx. 80 yards.

• US Size J/10 or 6 mm hook
• Yarn Needle
• Stitch Marker
• Scissors

The adult medium Crossroads Ear Warmer shared free on the blog is 11″ wide x 5″ tall. Size is approximate and may differ slightly based on the ability to meet gauge.

1. The pattern is worked in rounds from the bottom up.
2. Ch 1 does not count as a stitch.

Gauge

With US size J/10 (6 mm) hook: 7 stitches and rounds 1-58 = 2 “/2.5 cm. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain gauge.

Adult Medium Crossroads Ear Warmer Pattern Instructions

Ch 64, join to 1^st chain. Alternatively, FSC 64, join to 1^st FSC (Be careful not to twist)

Round 1: ch 1, SC in each chain around, join. (64 SC)

Round 2: ch 3, DC in last chain of round, * skip st, DC next st, DC skipped st, repeat from * around, join to top of ch 3. (32 crosses, 64 DC)

Round 3: ch 1, SC in each st around, join. (64 SC)

Round 4: ch 3, link stitch in each st around, join. (64 link stitches) [See photo tutorials]

Rounds 5-8: repeat Rounds 1-4 once.

Rounds 9-11: repeat rounds 1-3 once.

Finish off. Weave in ends.
