Crosshell Granny Pet Bandana

I grew up with big dogs and my husband and I had two big dogs from our dating years to our children’s first few years of life. We took a hiatus from having any pets after our last dog and cat passed over the rainbow bridge. For several years our sons begged us for a dog until we gave in. This time we found the sweetest little furr-baby and bonus, I could crochet him a handsome wardrobe for those fancy days and those chilly days.

The Crosshell Granny Pet Bandana is an easy granny stitch repeat pattern with a whimsical crossed double crochet and cluster shell border. This pattern is made with sport weight yarn and a 4.5 mm hook. You can add repeats to the granny stitch to make it larger for your pet, however the stitch counts for the border will not remain the same. As always, I will be sharing the size small version of the Crosshell Granny Pet Bandana with the buckle clasp method. You will find an ad-free version in my Ravelry store which includes the Small, Medium and Large sizes, as well as, join as you go tie method and the Romanian Cord Tie method.
