I have been on a bit of an crochet thread earring kick lately and am absolutely in love with these beauties! The Crossroads Clusters Earrings make the perfect gift as they can be made in about an hour. It is an advanced beginner crochet pattern that features the link stitch. Before you start Earrings are worked in turned rows. Ch 1 does not count as a stitch. Ch 3 does count as a stitch. A detailed photo tutorial of the link stitch is provided after the pattern instructions for your reference. Hdc clusters are worked over two stitches with next cluster beginning in the last stitch previously worked. YO and insert your hook into the next st, YO and pull up a loop. YO and pull through all five loops on your hook. Repeat hdc clusters beginning in the last stitch worked. |

Free Pattern Instructions
Make a MC or chain 3 and sl st join to the first chain to create a circle.
Be sure to leave a longer beginning tail to help secure to earring hook.
1: Ch 1, 8 sc in MC, turn (8)
2: 2 link stitches in 1st st, ch 1, 1 link stitch in next 2 sts, ch 1, 2 link stitches next st, ch 1, 1 link stitch in next 2 sts, ch 1, 2 link stitches in last st, rotate clockwise and do not turn. (10 link stitches and 4 ch 1)
3: Sl st across straight side 8 times and join to 1st LS. (8 sl sts)
4: Ch 1, sc in each LS and chain across, turn. (14 sc)
5: Ch 1, hdc cluster, (ch 1, hdc cluster), repeat around 13 times. (14 hdc clusters, 13 ch 1)
Fasten off and weave working end across top and in MC.
Attaching to earring
Pull both ends up through the center of MC to secure to jump ring.
Wrap and weave the ends several times through the MC and the jump ring.
Fasten off and weave in ends to secure them.
Using jewelry pliers, attach jump ring to fishhook earring.
