The new year brings a sense of hope and wonder to our lives. As we begin a new year, we reflect on our accomplishments and create a list of goals that we want to achieve in the coming year. Some years are better accomplished then others but we set them nonetheless.
I ended 2023 with 21 newly released pattern designs, a successful Clay and Fiber Sale with my husband, and a lighter product inventory. I am so appreciative of each and every pattern sale, visit to my blog and crochet purchase.

As a mother and a teacher, crochet is very much a side hustle and a mental release from the day to day grind. At the beginning of 2023, I had set a competitive goal for myself, to release more patterns than I did in 2022. Although I did not meet this lofty goal, I am proud of the accomplishments I made in 2023.
Goal setting has already commenced for 2024 as I have started writing out a plan of action for OVC Designs. Several new pattern releases are on the way, I am looking into doing a few craft fairs this year and am planning a fun Christmas in July Crochet Along.
My first pattern release of the new year will be the Crossroads Clusters Washcloth pattern, which will be featured next month in the Winter Washcloth Blog Hop and Bundle Sale hosted by Michelle of Two Brothers Blankets. More details coming soon!

I’d love to see what inspires you in your crafting and check out what you’re hooking in 2024! Tag me on Instagram or Facebook @owensvillachick. Join my Facebook Community and share the latest with fellow crafters!
Until next time,
Happy Yarning!
